The Turku Trojans American football team is one of the most successful teams in Finland. In the past 26 years it has won one championship, 9 silver medals and 4 bronze medals. The all-time winning percentage is 0,602. The Trojans play on the top level of Finnish football that is called the Maple League. The season culminates in Maple Bowl traditionally played in Helsinki. The league was originally endorsed by the Canadian embassy in an effort to promote friendship and North American culture in Finland; hence the name.

The Trojans also host competitive youth programs for all applicable age groups and a flag football team Lady Trojans for women who love the sport. And nobody wants to overlook the talent of the young ladies in our five cheerleading and dance groups: the Fates, Gaias, Pegasos, Aphrodites, and the Ariadnes.
